A neon grid stretching toward a synthwave sunset between canyon walls in Wakeclash

Wakeclash is an original neon arena racer built for touch. Two to four riders — human or AI — race across a glowing grid, leaving solid walls of light behind them. Turn, boost, and jump to cut rivals off. Touch a wall and you're out.

Every arena has its own personality: a synthwave canyon with a tunnel through the mountain, a space station hanging above an ocean planet, an underwater vault with a two-level deck you can drive off, and the glowing streets of Neon City. Earn bits in online races to unlock new bikes in the garage.

Features

What makes Wakeclash different

01

Built for touch

Tap the left or right half of the screen to turn. Dedicated boost and jump buttons, and haptics tuned for the Taptic Engine.

02

Jump and glide

Hop over a light wall with a tap, or hold to glide. Your trail follows your real flight path as an arch.

03

Online multiplayer

Up to four riders per race. AI fills empty seats, takes over if someone drops, and hands the bike back if they return quickly.

04

Smart AI riders

Easy, Medium, and Hard opponents that read the arena, hunt for space, and punish mistakes.

05

Three camera modes

Low chase, high chase, or top-down. Tap the minimap to switch on the fly.

06

Earn bits, unlock bikes

Survive online races to earn bits, then spend them on five cosmetic bikes. Every bike rides the same, so skill always wins.

Under the hood

How it's built

  • Unity 6 (URP)
  • C#
  • Unity Gaming Services
  • Cloud Code
  • Blender
  • Python
  • Deterministic simulation in plain C# so every device computes identical results — the foundation for fair online play.
  • Netcode tested over simulated good, 4G, poor, and outage networks, including host migration, AI takeover, rejoin, and desync repair.
  • Every bike, arena, sky, and sound is generated by in-house Blender and audio scripts, and a content validator blocks any build that breaks the rules.

When does Wakeclash come out?+

Wakeclash launches on the App Store for iPhone and iPad first, with Android to follow. Check back here — the App Store button on the Wakeclash page goes live on launch day.

How do I play?+

Tap the left half of the screen to turn left and the right half to turn right. Tap BOOST for a short burst of speed. When the jump ring is full, tap JUMP to hop over a light wall or hold it to glide. Avoid every wall — including your own.

How does online play work?+

Choose ONLINE to join an open room. Up to four riders race; AI fills any empty seats. Every human taps Ready, and at least two humans are needed to start. If you lose signal or take a call, an AI rider takes your bike — come back quickly to take it back.
